Beneath is Where the Truth Lies

"Fair is Foul, and Foul is Fair"

Those were the seven words the witches chanted in the dusty air. The words that project lots of meanings. The meaning of the paradox depends on the person reading it for it means lots of things. It affected me a lot as a person because for me, it speaks the whole truth about life. Nothing is ever fair in this world of ours. We tend to judge immediately not knowing that there is beauty underneath an unpleasant surface. We always jump into conclusions.

I genuinely think and believe that all of us judge each other or have judged people at some point in our lives. We just can't help it. People are just like the products that we buy. We tend to ignore those that are not signature made not knowing that they are so much more than what we think they are. We tend to ignore those that are "not our taste".

If you were given two gifts of the same weight and height, one wrapped neatly with beautiful patterns all over it, and one that was wrapped so ugly that it looked like the wrapper were just a bunch of crumpled newspapers patched together, which one would you choose? The pretty one, right? You chose the pretty one because it is pretty not knowing that a bunch of rats were in it while the other gift has chocolates and nice things in it. That situation is just like how we are with people. We tend to choose the better looking ones thinking that they are all nice and lovely when the reality is that some of them have the ugliest personalities. We all tend to go with them anyway because they look nice anyway. You may say that you have never done such but you know deep inside that you have.

We should never judge immediately because we don't know the truth. We just assume that we know the truth about a person. We should stop jumping into ridiculous conclusions without asking first. We always look at the outside not knowing that those fairest are the ones that are foul and those who seem foul are the fairest ones. . We always believe the thousands of lies on the cover not knowing beneath is where the truth lies.
